Flash sales in ULiège cafeterias
A permanent "flash sales" action to combat food waste on campus!
Visit the ULiège cafeterias at the end of each shift (see times below) to take advantage of the day's unsold products - salads, sandwiches and pokebowls - at knock-down prices. You'll benefit from a 50% discount on these products, while helping to combat food waste at your university.
In practice, these flash sales concern products with a best-before date on the day of purchase. They take place every day in the 7 cafeterias below, at the times detailed (which are reduced during low-use periods) and depending on the stock of unsold products available:
- Grande cafétéria (Quartier Agora - B8): from 4:30 to 5:00 p.m
- Cafétéria de l'Europe (Quartier Agora - B4): 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm
- Cafétéria de Médecine (Quartier Hôpital - CHU - B36) : 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm
- Faculty of Veterinary Medicine cafeteria (Quartier Vallée - B42): 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm
- Philo-Lettres cafeteria (Zone du 20-Août - A2): 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm
- ISLV Cafeteria (Zone Outremeuse - L5) : 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm
- Montéfiore cafeteria (Quartier Polytech 1 - B65): 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm

ULiège's university cafeterias and restaurants are aiming to reduce food waste by 50% by the end of 2030. Measures taken include flash sales of the day's unsold food, as well as the use of a new kitchen and dining room app to quantify and intensify waste reduction efforts.
