B3b · Pavilion B of the urbanistes

This pavilion houses :

• Service social des Etudiants which advises students on all social and administrative matters relating to student life. It also grants financial aid according to the academic and economic criteria defined by the Board of Governors of the University of Liège
• the Service Guidance Étude, a success-support service which brings together a team of educational advisors to support students throughout the year, and according to their specific needs, in the various aspects of their work methods and organization.

* Erected even before the site's urbanization plan was drawn up, these seven prefabricated pavilions (B3 a-b-d-e-f-g-h) were designed so that the Sart Tilman's first architects (André Jacqmain, Roger Bastin, Pierre Humblet, Jean Maquet and Charles Vandenhove) could meet, work, exhibit their models and even live at the heart of the estate, the work cells being completed with a sleeping area, a shower and a small kitchen.

Evoking hunting cabins, they are in perfect harmony with the surrounding forest, separated by grassy areas and hedges. The passage from one to the other is via narrow paths of light-colored flagstones, giving the ensemble the appearance of a forest village, next to the dwelling of Claude Strebelle (B3c), coordinator of Sart Tilman.
