Built during the first phase of construction of the Sart Tilman university site, the Institut de Chimie comprises four buildings in addition to the lecture theaters shared with the Institut de Physique:

B6d (Chemistry - Practical work)

The application laboratories building comprises two bodies of eight 36-seat laboratories, grafted onto a vast hall spanning the height of the three levels. The purpose of this hall is to enable students new to ULiège to get to know each other, meet and talk. H.M. King Baudouin inaugurated the complex on November 6, 1967 with Rector Dubuisson.
