The Science complex comprises the first scientific buildings to be constructed on the Sart Tilman campus, at the end of the 1960s.

In addition to the amphitheaters shared with the Institute of Physics, the Institute of Chemistry comprises four buildings:

  • B6a (Organic chemistry)
  • B6b (Science Libraries and Faculty of Science Office)
  • B6c (Chemistry - Licensing and Research)
  • B6d (Chemistry - Practical work)

Facing the basin, the Chemistry - Practical Work building consists of two rectangular parallelepipeds of equal height, one smaller than the other, connected by a third block serving as a vast entrance hall.
This hall distributes access to the various buildings in the complex.

The ULiège Library | Géosciences facility is also located in this building .
