High-level sport: Liège / Louvain-la-Neuve, an alliance for excellence
UCLouvain and ULiège have had their joint sports infrastructure project selected by the Walloon Government.
As a public university open to the world and is anchored in the scientific, cultural and economic development of its region, the University of Liège relies on its three pillars: teaching, research and civic engagement.
ULiège trains responsible citizens who are provided with cutting-edge knowledge and critical thinking, are able to share knowledge and can push forward an increasingly complex world.
ULiège develops and promotes excellence in research, multidisciplinary and direct engagement with its instruction.
Global exposure is a top priority at the University of Liège. The institution offers a wide range of international mobility opportunities to students, researchers and staff, enabling them to enhance their cross-disciplinary skills and language knowledge.
ULiège: an experience of daily living. Located in 3 cities and 4 campuses, the university is a key player in terms of the environment and mobility.
Concerned about the well-being of its students, the University of Liège offers free baskets of organic and local products to support students struggling to cope with everyday expenses.
T
he health situation we are experiencing is accompanied by a drop in income for some students. Aware of this reality, the University of Liège distribute weekly solidarity baskets to ULiège students who are experiencing difficulties.
Distributed every thursday, these baskets consist of vegetables and fruit, a bread or pasta packet, eggs, soup (offered by the City of Liège) and chocolate (good for morale!).
To meet the demand, the number of baskets was increased after the first test week. 400 organic solidarity baskets will be distributed every week until June 2021.
We hope that this basket of products direct from local producers will bring you comforting and gourmet moments.
