Cycling paths and specific developments

The University of Liege is investing in bicycle paths, such as the cycling/pedestrian link "Promenade des étudiants" connecting the School of Engineering and the Amphithéâtres de l'Europe on the Sart Tilman campus. This link will be extended in the near future.

Other developments:

Securing of the link at the bottom of Route du Condroz, between rue du Vallon (Angleur) and rue de la Belle-Jardinière (performed by the PSW in 2017).
In rue du Vallon itself, development of a continuous hydrocarbon coating (performed by the City of Liege in 2017).
Development of a cycling/pedestrian pathway in Grande Traverse on Sart Tilman (performed by ULiege in 2017).
Road markings in rue de la Belle-Jardinière in order to attract the attention of drivers to the presence of cyclists (performed by the City of Liege in 2017).
Development of the path between rue de Sordeye and rue des Homes into a cycling/pedestrian pathway (performed by ULiege in 2018).

These developments were or will be undertaken by the City of Liege and by the Public Service of Wallonia at the request of ULiege.

Charging points for electric-assisted bikes

Charging points are also available on the Sart Tilman campus of ULiege. It is possible to recharge your e-bike in front of the Agora restaurant (B62) or behind Amphithéâtres de l'Europe (B4).

It is important to be in possession of a small lock to secure your charger while charging!
