Financial incentives

Members of ULiege personnel

Commuting costs are reimbursed for the use of public transport or bicycles by staff members called "personnel statutaire et patrimoine au sens strict". However, this advantage can also be granted to other staff members (whether they are part of scientific/administrative staff or blue-collar workers) if the person responsible for the OTP used for reimbursement agrees to it.

Applying for cycle allowance is compatible with the reimbursement of season tickets for public transport as long as the use of a bicycle is complementary to that of public transportation.

TEC and SNCB

Terms of reimbursement request (access reserved for ULiege personnel).

Summary:

●     TEC: 100% of the season ticket refunded under certain conditions

●     SNCB: 100% of the season ticket refunded under certain conditions

Regular users of train and bus lines can buy a combined TEC and train season ticket.

Bicycles

●     Reimbursement: € 0.25/km

Should you encounter a technical problem or be in need of a new bike, the ULiège bike workshop (Sart Tilman) offers discounts on the price of maintenance (excluding parts) and the purchase of new bikes.

(Prospective) Students

TEC

Students under 25 years of age are entitled to a discount on the price of their bus season ticket. This preferential rate is automatically granted. No formalities are necessary!

Are you part of a large family? This reduced rate is for you!

SNCB

If you are under 26 years old you are entitled to a discount on your train season ticket.
