“Tous vélo-actifs" label

Since 2012, the University of Liège is a "Tous vélo-actifs" entity (operation led by the Public Service of Wallonia) and, since 2013, participates each year in "Printemps à vélo" (Spring by Bike) and the "Semaine de la mobilité" (Mobility week).

In autumn of 2016, ULiège continued its progression in terms of cycling policy and won 4 stars in the "Tous vélo-actifs" label.

The University of Liège is implementing a complete bike policy: loan of electric-assisted bikes (EAB), charging stations for EABs, service bikes, sharing of routes...The University has also invested in bike paths and has obtained secure bike routes developed by the SPW.

A bike workshop is, furthermore, housed by the ASBL Intégrasport on the Sart Tilman campus in the Agora district. It facilitates cycling by offering a whole series of services: repairs, maintenance, sale of used, new and electric bikes, sale of parts at soft prices. Training in bike mechanics, bike check-ups, participation in "Printemps à vélo" and the "Semaine de la Mobilité", meetings with cyclists, collaborations with the City of Liège...a series of actions are regularly organised in favour of bike usage.
