The campus of Liège city centre, the historical campus of the University of Liège, rooted in the heart of the "Ardent City" since 1817.

The campus of Liège city centre brings together the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, the Faculty of Architecture, HEC-Management School of the University of Liège, and the Central Administration. For 200 years, the University of Liège’s location in the heart of a city beaming with history at Place du 20-Août, has since deployed its infrastructure within various districts of the Ardent City.
- The Rectorship, the Administration, and the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters are grouped in the central building, Place du 20-Août. The Royal University Theatre of Liège has its great hall there and the public can there visit the Wittert Gallery and the Museum of Prehistory. The main building also houses prestige theatres, including the Faculty Room and the superb Academic hall, one of the most remarkable examples of neoclassical architecture in the country. Along the Meuse, the large museum pole of the University of Liège, the"Embarcadère du Savoir includes the Aquarium-Museum, the House of Science and the House of Metallurgy and Industry.
- The Faculty of Architecture is spread out over two sites: the Outremeuse site (east of the city centre) and the Botanical Garden site (to the south-west of the city centre).
- HEC-Management School of the University of Liège is located on Rue Louvrex.
