The Université de Liège is the only French-speaking university in Belgium to organize the entire veterinary medicine training program on a single campus, at the Sart Tilman. This ensures unrivalled educational continuity throughout the course. The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine boasts an unrivalled infrastructure for teaching and research.
In addition to spacious classrooms, a restaurant and a specialized library, it offers an exceptional learning environment thanks to its "skill lab", an alternative teaching space equipped with artificial models and mannequins, its research laboratories, its educational farm and its care and hospitalization clinics. These clinics cater for all species, from the most "classic" (pets and livestock) to the most "unusual" (turtles, snakes, iguanas, etc.), all of which are "patients" for the students' veterinary training and practice. These university clinics are unique in the Brussels and Walloon regions. All the facilities have been designed to facilitate teaching: retransmission of operations, mini-auditoriums for consultations, etc.
Right from the start of their studies, students are immersed in a veterinary environment, and have the opportunity to get involved by taking part in activities on the educational farm.
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is located on the Sart Tilman Campus. The site is served by several bus lines.
The estate is divided into major districts, and the Faculty is located in the Vallée district.
For the Bloc 1 of the bachelor programme, with the exception of practical biology, which takes place in the city center, at the Institute of Zoology (I1, Quai Van Beneden 22), all courses are held at the Sart Tilman in the following locations:
From Bloc 2 of the bachelor programme onwards, theoretical courses and practical, clinical and paraclinical work are held at Faculty of Veterinary medicine, in the Vallée district, with the exception of theoretical courses for the Bloc 1 of the master programme, which are held in the Grands Amphithéâtres (B7a).
The Faculty is located on the Sart Tilman campus. You have the option of living just a stone's throw from your courses, on or near the campus. You can also choose to live in downtown Liège, close to shops and cultural venues, and commute to campus daily. Whatever your preference, there's always something to suit your needs.
Around 7,000 student accommodation options are available throughout the city and around the Sart Tilman campus (rooms, studios, apartments, houses). There's plenty to choose from, and average prices are still affordable compared with other major university cities.

In addition to the libraries, the Sart Tilman campus and the city center offer a number of spaces specially designed for students, including study, relaxation and co-working areas.
With its greenery and wooded paths, the Sart Tilman is in itself an open-air sports area. You can walk, run or cycle along the many paths that cross the area.
In general, ULiège supports its students in their studies in a variety of ways, whether in terms of quality of life, success assistance, well-being or social aspects.
