LabSET-ULiège is a research center specializing in higher education pedagogy. It conducts research, teaches, intervenes and consults in Belgium and abroad.

Its areas of research are curriculum reform in higher education, learning and assessment of complex performance (competencies), and pedagogical consulting. He is a member of the ARCh research unit.

Attached to the "Education and Training" department of the Faculty of Psychology, Logopedics and Educational Sciences, LabSET takes part in three teaching/training programs, two in Belgium and one in France: in the Wallonia-Brussels Community, it is involved in the Master's degree in Educational Sciences, and organizes the "CERTICA" certificate at ULiège. His contributions to the master's program focus on the evaluation of complex performance, ethics, the analysis of teaching/training situations and the role of pedagogical advisors in supporting teachers in higher education. The CERTICA program is aimed at trainers responsible for designing technology-supported training courses for adults with low levels of education. In France, LabSET is involved in the master's program in training engineering in the field of public health (Sorbonne Paris Nord).

LabSET-ULiège works with higher education institutes, social and professional reintegration centers and research centers. It helps these organizations to design, transform, adjust or evaluate their face-to-face and online training offerings. It specializes in building programs focused on skills development, in Belgium and abroad. Its sources of funding come from Europe, ministries, public and private institutions.
