The Faculty of Applied Sciences is located in the Polytech district, near the large roundabout in the northern part of the campus, the Simone David-Constant roundabout.

The current Civil Engineering building (Greisch Design Office, 2001) is recognizable by its stainless steel cladding, which gives it a technological identity in keeping with the departments it houses. The light from the sky reflected on the cladding helps to lighten its mass, as do its curved roof and the glass canopy that forms an interior street*.

On the ground floor of B52 is the UDI François Oury (decentralized IT unit) as well as, between the two wings of the building, in the B52/4 building, the Library of Applied Sciences and Mathematics, which is part of the Library of Science and Technology. This building also houses the offices of the Centralized Justification Unit of the Financial Resources Administration and those of the LEPUR.

LEPUR is a research center focusing on cities, territories, and rural areas that brings together research units and researchers specializing in territorial development at the University of Liège. Its scientific project focuses on developing knowledge, methodologies, and strategic tools to improve the management of territorial development and the use of its resources.
