Founded in 1948, the Centre de Recherches Métallurgiques (CRM) employs 130 people.
Located in Liège, on the University campus, and in Ghent, the CRM is one of 23 collective research centers approved by the Walloon Region.
Focusing on the development of new processes and products, the CRM manages a portfolio of collective and private research for its members in the metallurgy sector, with a strong emphasis on the steel industry.
