Located close to the nuclear physics building (B15), the Cyclotron Research Center (CRC) at the University of Liège focuses on neuroscience.
Thanks to the financial support of public and private partners, the CRC has acquired a multitude of cutting-edge technological platforms, giving it recognized expertise in many fields, from the production of radiopharmaceutical compounds for central nervous system imaging to the acquisition of three-dimensional images of brain anatomy, biochemistry and physiology in small animals and humans.
In 2016, the CRC joined GIGA, the Interdisciplinary Cluster for Applied Genoproteomics, to become the GIGA-Cyclotron (CRC) platform.
