Building B31 centralizes most of the activities and offices of the Faculty of Law, Political Science and Criminology and the Faculty of Social Sciences.
Frequented by many students for its numerous auditoriums and the Léon Graulich library, it has direct access to building B8 via a footbridge.
Renowned for its bold, sometimes even labyrinthine layout, it's best to plan ahead if you want to get to class on time. A video tutorial has been created specifically for this purpose:

The Law and Psychology buildings are part of what art historians call the "second period" of the Sart Tilman (*).
This is the period of the 1980s, when, compared to the first buildings, we move towards more traditional or classical urban forms, in contrast to the first phase of the 1960s, which was distinctly more modernist.
During this second period, buildings took the form of fragmented volumes, sloping roofs and more complex layouts.
In order to preserve the existing relief, the Law Faculty building "slopes" down the hill towards the woods and the Blanc Gravier valley.
The lowest level corresponds to the ULiège Library | Léon Graulich, facing the wooded side, offering a peaceful, restful setting.
The buildings are made up of several volumes of varying heights and shapes, forming a sort of "little village" with a central patio.
