* In order to provide the university estate with a suitable technical infrastructure, the central heating plant was quickly built. The central heating plant (Claude Strebelle, 1966-1968) reflects the architect's desire to combine aesthetics and functionality. Its pyramidal structure and slate cladding were also used for B9 - Poste Centrale d'Alarme. This central heating station serves all university buildings.
